The hardware list gathers the quantities of hinges, runners, connectors, handles, gola profiles and edge banding in the project into one table; the door list gives the door and glass order with sizes. Both are built from the drawing on their own.

Short answer

Production › Hardware on the ribbon (Alt + H) opens the Hardware List, and Production › Door (Alt + G) opens the Door List. Both windows have a Print button.

Hardware List

The window has three columns: Hardware / Material, Category and Quantity. Below the title it says how many kinds of hardware there are in total. The list includes these items:

  • Edge Band. The total meters of PVC banding for each pattern.
  • Connector. Carcass connector and drawer dowel counts.
  • Hinge. The number of Ø35 hinges.
  • Runner. Drawer runners, as sets.
  • Shelf Pin. The number of shelf pin holes.
  • Handle and Profile. The number of handles and the meters of gola profile.
  • Hardware. Other items such as hanging rails and holders, legs and lift mechanisms.

The list updates on its own as the document changes; you do not need to refresh it. If there are no modules in the room, it says "The list is built here once you add modules to the room".

Door List

In the Door List, each row groups doors with the same name, size and board. The columns are: Door, Size (Height × Width mm), Thickness (mm), Color, Material and Qty. Drawer fronts are in this list too. Because glass doors are not cut from board, they appear on separate rows with Glass in the Material column. The title shows how many kinds of doors there are and the total quantity.

If another workshop or supplier makes your doors, use this list for the order; turn off the Doors and Drawer Fronts categories in Nesting Settings to keep the doors out of your own nesting.

Printing and getting a PDF

  1. Open the Hardware List or the Door List.
  2. Press Print; the table opens in the print dialog with its title and summary.
  3. Choose your printer or save as PDF.

Hardware by module

The Module tab of the Cut List window shows each cabinet’s parts with that cabinet’s hardware counts below. Use this view to work cabinet by cabinet at assembly. For cabinets with edge holes, it also says how many holes need a horizontal drilling unit. The Assembly sheet page of the file you get with Export to Excel has the same information.

Tip: If you enter hardware prices on the Hardware rows of the Quote tab, hardware is added to the quote total.

Frequently asked questions

Connector counts are calculated from the connector settings on the modules and the Automatic Connector Count values on the General Settings › Carcass page. To change a module’s connectors, right-click the module and choose Change All Connector Settings.

If you press Export to Excel in the Cut List window while on any tab other than List, the Assembly sheet page of the file has hardware counts cabinet by cabinet. The Hardware List window gives a printout with Print.

On door height. The Automatic Hinge Count table on the General Settings › Door page sets how many hinges are fitted at which height.
