How do I print part labels?
Production and CNC · Last updated:
Short answer
In the Cut List, go to the “Labels” tab, press “Print Labels” and choose your printer in the print dialog. You set the label size with the template under Settings › “General Settings” › Label.
Step by step
- In Settings menu › “General Settings” › Label, choose the Template: an A4 label sheet or a roll size for a label printer.
- Open the Cut List with Production › “Cut” (Alt + F) and go to the “Labels” tab; preview each part’s label.
- Press “Print Labels”; choose your printer in the print dialog and print.
- If you have run nesting, the “Label” button in Nesting Results prints the same labels.
A label shows the part name, cabinet name, size, material, banding and a barcode; a part machined on its back face says “REVERSE SIDE”. To print two labels for double-sided parts, turn on “Print 2 labels for double-sided parts” under General Settings › Label.
