How do I draw my first kitchen?
Getting started · Last updated:
Short answer
On the start screen, press “New Project”, type the room dimensions and press “CREATE ROOM”. Then click cabinets in Modules › “Library” to place them in the room; the cut list builds itself as you draw.
Step by step
- On the start screen, press “New Project”; type the project name and, if you like, the customer details.
- Enter the room dimensions in mm (W width, D depth, H height) and press “CREATE ROOM”.
- If there is a door, window or column, add it from the window opened by Room Design › “Room”.
- Open Modules › “Library” (Ctrl + L) and click a base cabinet; the module is placed in the room, drag it along the wall.
- For the corner, use Modules › “L Corner” or “45° Corner”; add wall cabinets from the Library the same way.
- For the worktop, select the base cabinets with Ctrl, press Room Design › “Countertop” and press “Apply” in the panel that opens.
- Check the cut list with Production › “Cut” and save the project with File › “Save” (Ctrl + S).
With View › “Magnet” on, a module snaps to the wall and the neighboring module while you drag it; holding Alt turns snapping off. Step-by-step lessons for every topic are in the Tutorials section of the start screen.
