When does my license become active?

Short answer
As soon as you enter your license code and the activation code made for your computer and press “Activate”; the computer must be online at that moment. We send the codes once your payment reaches us.
Step by step
- Open “Settings” on the start screen; you see your Account ID under Profile and your Machine ID under License.
- Choose your plan, make the payment and send us these two IDs.
- Type the license code we send (it starts with MDC-) and the activation code into the “Enter license code” field under Settings › License. While the trial runs, you can also use the “Enter license” link at the bottom right.
- Press “Activate”; when the “License activated” message appears, your license is on.
An activation code only works on the computer it was made for. If a code is mistyped, the program warns you right away; copying and pasting the codes is easiest.
