# Bulk edit

Last updated: October 25, 2026

Bulk Edit is the moducut tool that changes the same setting on many modules in the project at once; topics such as material, back panel, runners, connectors, handles and size are grouped on separate tabs. Use it to change the color of every door in the kitchen, or the runner on every drawer, without opening modules one by one.

> **Short answer** Open the Bulk Edit panel with **Room Design › Bulk** (Alt + B), choose the scope (Whole project, Base cabinets, Wall cabinets), choose what to change from the tabs at the top and press **Apply**.

## Scope

In the Scope section you choose Whole project, Base cabinets or Wall cabinets; modules you click in 3D also join the scope. **Clear selection** empties the scope. When you select several modules in the room with Ctrl, right-click and choose **Features**, Bulk Edit also opens with those modules.

## Tabs

- **Material.** Changes by part group (such as doors, carcass, plinth, crown, side fillers) or by the material used in the project. Replace mode replaces one pattern with a new one; Assign mode assigns a material directly to the carcass, doors and back panel.
- **Carcass.** Changes the carcass material and carcass connector.
- **Back Panel.** Changes the back panel type, thickness, groove depth and groove distance.
- **Drawer Runner.** Assigns the same runner to all drawers in the scope.
- **Drawer Base.** Changes the base type (Grooved, Nailed, Side-wall), base thickness, groove depth and groove distance.
- **Connector.** Lists the connectors used in the project with where they are used; you replace one with another. **Select** puts the modules using that connector into the scope.
- **Door.** Extends or shortens doors at the Top, Bottom, Left and Right edges in mm; with the Drawer fronts too option it also applies to drawer fronts.
- **Handle.** Adds or removes handles; chooses the handle type (No handle, Gola or a handle model) and its position on the door.
- **Size.** Changes Height, Depth and Height from floor together; the spread of sizes in the project is shown with counts, and **Match the most common size** brings all of them to the most used size.

## Making a bulk edit

1. Press **Room Design › Bulk**.
2. Choose the scope or click modules in 3D.
3. Open the tab and enter the new values.
4. Press **Apply**. If you do not like the result, undo it with Ctrl + Z.

Fields you do not touch do not change; for example, if you only chose the position on the Handle tab, the handle model stays as it is.

## Changing a single module’s connectors

If you right-click a module and choose **Change All Connector Settings**, the Connector tab of Bulk Edit opens with only that module in scope. In design mode, right-click a part and use the commands under Connector Operations to edit a single part’s connectors: move a connector to the other face, delete all connectors on the part, replace it with another fitting or reset it to default.

> **Tip:** With the Select button on the Connector tab, you can find the modules that use a particular connector and change only those.
